Dr Sophia Lazarou

My very first job was in year 10 of high school in 2013 and it just so happened to be at my local Brisbane veterinary clinic as an animal attendant. Little did I know I had found my calling and quickly fell in love with veterinary medicine. I took the leap in 2018 to move to Townsville to complete my Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree at James Cook University in 2023.

Early on in my degree I was lucky enough to cross paths with my beautiful Manx cat, Billie, who I adopted in 2020. Billie is my absolute everything and she is a consistent reminder of my passion for animals as well as the monumental amount of love and care we as owners have for our pets.
